doorledge for iPhone
Terms
doorledge helps you keep rental records and review them later. These terms cover the iPhone app and its connected features, provided by DOORLEDGE LLC. Native Sign in with Apple, team links and accountant snapshots described here are part of the next release, which is still being prepared.

Using doorledge
By using the app or its connected features, you agree to these terms. The app is licensed under Apple’s standard licensed application agreement.
doorledge organizes information you provide. It does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice or make filing determinations. Rental and personal splits use the amounts or areas you choose; they do not decide whether an expense is eligible for a particular tax treatment. Check scanned text, imported amounts and team submissions before relying on them. You can use your records with a qualified tax pro, your own software, or however you file.
Purchases and cancellation
doorledge offers one annual subscription: US $39.99 per year, with a 14-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. It renews automatically each year unless canceled. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or billing period ends to avoid the next charge. Apple shows the price and trial eligibility before you confirm and manages payments, cancellations and refund requests.
An active annual trial or subscription unlocks paid capture and connected access. Saved local records remain viewable and exportable after paid access ends. Restore Purchases checks purchases made with your Apple account, including any previously purchased lifetime access. Lifetime access is no longer sold.
Deleting the app or your doorledge account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions in your Apple account.
Accounts and connections
Team links and publishing accountant snapshots need internet access, a doorledge account and a verified Apple purchase. The next version uses Sign in with Apple inside the app. Keep the same doorledge account when reconnecting or adding Apple sign-in to an earlier email-based account.
The next version stores your host-entered ledger and original receipts on the iPhone. You can choose to publish a copy through an accountant snapshot. Team links share the helper and property display names, role and language. Helper submissions arrive as drafts for review while the app is open and online. Delivery can be delayed by a network interruption. Receiving a submission does not immediately erase its server copy.
Sharing team links
Share links only with the people you intend to receive them. Anyone with a link can submit for its named member and property. A submission records what the sender reports; it is not independent proof of identity, attendance or location.
The sender must have permission to share submitted information and photos. New links stay open until replaced or closed; earlier links may have an expiry date. doorledge opens your chosen sharing app; it does not send texts automatically.
Sharing a copy of your records
Publishing an accountant snapshot uploads the selected confirmed records and any originals you include. Anyone holding its private link can read and download that copy without an account. Check the scope and original files before publishing; a full receipt can include personal items or other properties. Share only information you have permission to disclose.
A snapshot is a dated copy, not a live ledger, backup or direct tax-software integration. Later changes on your phone do not update it. Close older links when sharing a replacement. Links expire after 90 days; closing one sooner stops new access but cannot recall files already downloaded. An original download already opened can finish for up to 60 seconds.
Each snapshot supports up to 5,000 rows, 500 originals and 100 MB of original files, with 20 MB per original. Up to five links can be open, and ten snapshots can be created in 24 hours. Local export remains available if you need to share a larger set. An interrupted upload is unavailable to readers until publication finishes.
Your records
You keep ownership of the records and photos you provide. You allow us to process and share them as needed to carry out the features you choose, as described in the privacy policy.
Save regular backups using Settings → Backup & restore, as well as any exports you need. A backup can be restored to an empty ledger on a new or reinstalled iPhone before connecting an account. It does not overwrite existing records or restore an Apple purchase. The team service is not a backup of your ledger or receipt originals. Server team photos are available for 30 days after submission. Open doorledge online and receive the photos within that time to save them on the phone. Routine cleanup then removes server photos; downloaded copies stay on the phone and can be included in backups and records exports.
You can delete a connected account from the app while keeping local records. The website deletion page remains available for existing email-based accounts. Deletion also removes historical web-service data associated with the same identity. Updating the app alone does not erase those earlier cloud records.
Support and changes
If something is not working, visit Support or email doorledgesupport@gmail.com. Include the app version and a description of the problem. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or sensitive receipts in an initial support email.
We will update the date on this page when these terms change and explain material changes before they take effect. These terms do not limit rights that apply to you under consumer law.
