doorledge for iPhone
Work the way you already work
Preview of an upcoming iPhone update. Forwarding, assistant connections and AI exports are being tested and are not yet included in the current App Store release.
Send receipts to doorledge from your inbox or your AI assistant, and take your records into the AI tools you use. Everything that comes in lands as a draft in Records. Nothing counts until you review it on your iPhone and tap Save.
Your next task, already written
Find a vendor’s invoices, preserve the items in a mixed purchase, collect service dates or compare your exported spending. Start with a simple prompt and fill in your details.
Three jobs, one place to review
Collect vendor receipts. Ask an assistant with authorized inbox access to find invoices from a named vendor and send one draft per purchase. Keep order confirmations, shipping updates and promotions distinct. Missing prices stay missing for you to check.
Split a mixed purchase. Send the actual item names and prices, plus source text and a link when available. In doorledge, tap Review items and choose rental or personal for each item. The host decides the allocation.
Collect service dates. Ask for explicit cleaning or maintenance dates. Review the suggestions before adding a visit. Invoice dates and payment due dates remain separate.
Start with one source. Check the result in Records before asking for a larger batch. Assistants cannot read your saved ledger, pay vendors or decide tax treatment through this connection.
Forward receipt emails
In the doorledge app, open Records → Email receipts to see your private address. Earlier test builds place this in Settings → Forward & connect. It looks like receipts-7k2m9qzx8a@doorledge.com. Forward an order confirmation, invoice or receipt to it, or set up an email rule that forwards them for you.
doorledge keeps the email’s text and any PDF, JPEG or PNG attachments as one draft. Your iPhone reads the primary receipt for suggested details and saves every accepted attachment for review. Possible promotions, shipping updates and conflicting amounts are flagged for you to check. Keep the address private. If it’s shared by mistake, tap Replace address; the old one stops working right away.
Connect an AI assistant
Assistant compatibility is being verified. Setup options below are for testing and do not establish support in the current App Store release.
Add doorledge as a connector in a compatible assistant using this address: https://www.doorledge.com/api/mcp. You’ll sign in to doorledge and approve the connection.
- Claude: Find doorledge in the connector directory. The compatible iPhone inbox is still a test-build requirement. A published connector does not make the upcoming iPhone features available in the App Store.
- ChatGPT: add a custom connector in Settings → Apps & Connectors and paste the address. Custom connectors may need developer mode turned on.
- Gemini: custom connection and draft delivery have been tested. On the web, open Settings → Personal Intelligence → Connected Apps → Custom apps. Date extraction and source-link checks remain in progress. Account and regional availability apply.
- Meta Muse: connection setup is awaiting verification. No directory listing is promised.
Then ask, for example: “Find my ABC Pest invoices from September and add them to doorledge.” The assistant can add drafts and see the property names you choose to share in the app. It can’t read, change or delete your saved financial records. In compatible versions, Share schedule in Connect AI separately lets an assistant read planned visit days and known booking dates for selected properties. The copy updates while you use the app and expires for assistant access after 24 hours. Dates are partial context, not confirmed availability; new service dates still need your review.
Disconnect an assistant any time from your doorledge account page or from the assistant’s own settings.
Add service dates
In compatible test builds, ask your assistant: “Find the cleaning dates Liz sent me for Garden ADU and send them to doorledge for review.” Dates arrive as suggestions, with planned visits, completed work, invoice dates and payment due dates labeled separately.
Open the draft, tap Review service dates, and choose a team member and property before adding a planned visit to Schedule. This is a one-time import, not ongoing calendar sync. Invoice and completed-service dates stay with the record; they do not create expenses or property hours.
Ask the assistant to include the source text along with the email link. If a link opens your inbox instead of the message, Read source copy opens the text saved on your iPhone. Assistant-supplied text is a copy, not a verified original receipt file.
What about ongoing assistance?
Gemini Spark and other persistent assistants may support ongoing tasks with separately authorized sources. doorledge-specific persistent workflows are not yet verified. Connecting doorledge alone does not enable inbox monitoring, give access to Gmail or Calendar, or create a recurring task.
Every incoming purchase remains a draft. A service-date change remains a proposal. The host reviews the result in doorledge; external calendars and messages to the team are unchanged.
Take your records to any AI tool
In Records, tap Export → For AI tools. doorledge makes Markdown files that Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and other tools read well: your records, a year summary and a guide that explains each column. Upload them with anything else you’re working on, such as a renovation spreadsheet or files on your laptop.
To bring results back, ask the AI tool to use the included import template, save the CSV, and import it in doorledge. Imported rows arrive for your review.
What stays private
Forwarded emails, source text and files sent by an assistant are kept in private storage only until your iPhone receives them, and never longer than 30 days. Your saved ledger and receipt originals stay on your iPhone. Exports go only where you share them.
AI assistants and email providers have their own privacy terms. doorledge organizes records for your review; it doesn’t give tax, legal or accounting advice. See Privacy.
